i always wished i was rayanne and i was in love with jared lettos charachter............. it was my fave show ever. i need the box set. anyone else watched this??
i love that show. it was back on on some nickelodeon channel, but it seems to be off the air again. ive been debating getting the box set because that show is awesome. and jared- hells yeah! hes gorgeous. i like his look now, that big ol beard. its hot. i wanted to be a mix of angela and rayanne, personally. i have posted about 'my so called life' a few times ...well i never stop if some one is talking about it...i love it.. i realy liked the one about the 'angel' if i remember rightly she was a homeless girl.. i was the same way. even when i watch reruns sometimes. i just fall for jared all over again and rayanne was so awesome.
I loved it, too!! Last time it has been on air here, was 5 years ago and I loved it so much!! Rayanne .... hmm ... she was so cool!! Angela was cute, I could relate to her more, even if I liked to be more like Rayanne. Jordan was great! And I liked to have a friend like Ricky back then. So sweet! I don´t think, we get the show on DVD here. I kinda hope we will, but it would seriously surprise me.
I never saw 'My So Called Life' till this month. So far I've seen the first four episodes. So beautifully written and beautifully acted, I'm totally blown away by it. Speaking of beautiful, Angela is such a beautifully sensitive young girl, that she takes my breath away. So sensitive, yet so sublely manipulative in how she tries to toss her own feelings of guilt and inadequecy on to others, like her father or her ex-best friend. It's disturbing to hear you girls say that you relate more to Rayanne. As a fatherless girl, Rayanne is trapped in an irrational momentum that chronically attempts to over-compensate for her lack of caring male attention. She will probably be trapped like that for her entire life. Acting all extroverted to hide her utter sense of loss. Constantly wandering from one boy to the next, yet never truely being there with anyone. Weep, how does this come across in Germany? Do they dub-it or subtitle it?
It´s a bad thing! I would be happy if they´d subtitle everything, but they don´t. They dub it (I guess you mean the same thing as I do, I´m to lazy right now to go to my room and find that dictionary). I hope we´ll get the DVD´s here, cause I´d love to hear everybodys real voice in mscl. And the real script!! They have to change the script, to match the lips and stuff.
I loved it...was in the same precarious teenage emotional turbulence as they were and thought that it was nice to see something which reflected how I felt about things on the Telly...though I haven't seen it for YEARS...can you get it in England?
