homosexual family tradition

does anyone else have this in there family?

one, maybe two of my great great aunts were lesbian,

my grandfather is gay,

my great uncle is gay,

i'm pretty sure my mum is bisexual, she had a lesbian relationship once, but is now very happily married to my dad,

and i am bisexual.

i swear there is a homosexual gene running through my mothers family

so yeah, does anyone else have this?

As far as I know I am the ONLY gay person in my family.

I've always wondered if my brother was gay. No significant relationship of any kind and other signs. When I came out to my mom, she expressed the same thought.

While I seem to be the only one in my family, I know other families that are different. Several of my friends have a sibling(s) or cousin(s) that are also gay.

 

Yes , I have....2 lesbian cousins..a bi sister....a bi brother....a gay male cousin who is a trans....My mom has had female lovers in the past....a bi son...and im gay....I have often wondered if there is a genetic link..

 

I am convinced my grandmother is a lesbian. Her and her "friend" Marie are always vacationing together and smoochin' on the cheek. My grandparents have admited that they are now just married because it would be too much trouble to seperate anyways.
But other than that, I'm the only queer .

IM gay my coisins lesbian

 

I am gay and my half sister is a lesbian. I also have a gay cousin.

 

I'm gay, and aside from my mom's cousin who's a lesbian and my dad's cousin (in Israel) who's gay, I don't think there's anyone else.

Gay thoughts are frowned upon in my family. I have no gay relatives. Being Gay in our family isn't really a good thing.

I come from a strong bred patriotic Welsh Valley family. They were all miners and militerymen.

 

same here really, they only just tolerate it, which is better than not tolerating it at all

Actually, it doesn't really concern me, because I'm not gay...Yet, saying that, I probably wouldn't say no if given the offer. It would have to be someone I didn't know, and wouldn't have any contact with my home.

 

For cases like yours, I like to use the word "heteroflexible."

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be offensive. I have a friend like that, where he's not actively seeking to hook up with guys or anything, but if the opportunity were to arise, he'd probably go with it. But he's more of the type to actively seek out women.
