hippy hunter, you silly little ignorant worm who for some mysterious reason keeps on returning to the forums,

You have no understanding of human culture other than what you've been taught. You have no clue about historical facts. The american indians (whether we choose to believe it or not) were in fact anarchistic in their own right, and they thrived for who knows how long until your breed (the anglo-genocidal-imperialists) came and decimated their land, people, and nearly, their culture.

Crawl back into your hole as up to a million people take Manhattan next week to reclaim what it ours: Democracy...which in reality IS anarchism (let's lose the highschool terminology of "anarchy" ok?)

All anarchism, in essense, is participatory, or 'direct' democracy.

Learn the true defintions before casting blame, false accusations, and stupidly assinine "predictions" you dumb ignorant redneck know-nothing fuck.

If you don't like highschool defenitions, how's the dictionary.com one?

Native Americans were most certainly not anarchistic. Tribal cheiftains and village elders made all major decisions, so authority did exist, and in South America there was even a heirarchy of governmental figures (from sanitation workers all the way up to emperors). But I assume you meant North Americans. Ever heard of the League of Iroqious (yeah, I spelled that wrong)? If that's not authority, I don't know what is.

Direct democrace definitely isn't anarchism either, unless you're talking about anarcho-syndacism (I spelled that wrong too) or something like that which is more like decentralized socialism than anarchism. If someone is in charge, it's not anarchy.

Besides, anarchy can never work anyway. How would computers, cars or pharmasuticals get produced if there was no government to regulate those industries or issue currency to buy their products?

max, you definitely make some good points that I'll have to think about. You're only half-right in certain areas though. There were indeed anarchist principles in SOME american indian circles...maybe not all. But the ones that existed worked.

I'm the last person to speak about the nitty gritty details about anarchism, but there is a great resource that would answer all your questions, and prove some of what you said false. Check it out when ya can.

Looks like somebody got cranky; maybe your mommy should put you to bed before you post anything else!

You call me an "ignorant worm" yet you are the one with a closed Nazi mind that cannot accept that you are wrong! Give up your Nazi ways, nobody wants to be like you; as you are clearly the stupid-est of all people. I didn't know that I couldn't post on this forum! Obviously you can't stand other people views!

I enjoy your "cut downs", they show me how little you actually know about anything and that you have no "intellectual" response. First: "Red Neck" this statement shows that you are using your emotions to dictate your actions, and a complete lack of reason. It also shows that you have no idea who I am, just that you disagree with me and you disagree with rednecks; therefore I am a redneck. When in fact I really dislike rednecks! Second: "You have no understanding of human culture other than what you've been taught". Unlike you I didn't drop out of 6th grade to smoke weed and stink! My parents didn't think it was cool to be dumb and oppress everyone elses ideals. But, please, excuse me for going to college.

I did learn the true definition of Anarchy, they teach you that in 10th grade Civics, but you wouldn't know because you dropped out to pursue a life of hippy-dom. Get an education, then you can argue.

I don't have any clue huh? I'm sure that you are a Harvard educated history professor! I'm equally sure that the time I spent studying politics and governments was probably wasted.

How about this, I'll crawl back into my hole when Kerry loses this election! Its going to happen, you know it as well as I do!!

You are wrong, if Max Power didn't already demostrate, that most (maybe all) tribes were lead by a Chief. Not lead through community rule. You're the only idiot that thinks anarchy will work. Please try though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like how you've backed out of "total anarchy" and now you're saying its "direct democracy" way to back out of your words!!

You should really quit calling names; it makes your posts look so emotional and wrong. (not to mention childish)

I totally agree with that, however, the problem is man's tendency to think he can/should rule men.
