Can anybody send me a link or tell me every single current war going on in the world now? I am part of a group who are putting together a "night of peace", with bands playing, and all of us getting together and educating people on things going on in the world, and my topic is current wars...if anyone can help that would be awesome Peace and Love, Dan
wow, um holy sh** that would be quite the undertaking. i wish i knew a link to something as comprehensive as that. would you include cold wars (sorta like india and pakistan?)...would you include ethnic cleansing?...would you include isreal and palestine (not an official war..)...would you include bushs "war on terror"...or certian muslim fundementalists "war on america" ? ... what constitutes war?..what constitues life?!...am i really here?...do you people even exist....*screen gets all wavy and i slowly disappear into an echoing void*
I wouldn't include the "War on terror" but I would include Iraq and Afghanistan...If ya have ANY links to ANY conflicts going on in the world, no matter what they are, i would greatly appreciate it. Peace and Love, Dan

it seems to me as if he'slooking for info on current war as a whole...and even if that wasn't the case, i think he'd be looking at ways to discredit your government, not degrade it's citizens.
We are a Democracy, our government is run by the people; for the people. So when you insult our government you are really insulting the people.
What planet do you live on? The United States of America is NOT a true democracy. D.C. represents the will of the american people about as much as Moscow represented the will of the soviets. U.S. just has a better PR than others.

Fact: Clinton was President during more wars than Bush. (He had less justification also) I kinda like kicking out genocidal dictators, maybe you liked it better when these poor people were being oppressed? Before the fall of the Taliban the entire Feminst world was outraged by the treatment of Afghany women. Now they can do everything a man can do, but for some reason that doesn't matter. Giving millions of people equality should matter, and you hippies should be the first to celebrate this. (I know people died to get it, people died to get your freedom too)
bush went and anounced to the world that he was the war president. and now the military campaine consists of bombing paking lots and houses full of women and children.

No, Not All the 22 million state and 3 Million Federal Employees are looking to furthur their self interests, but a good amount are. The way Politics work, To get far in politics, you have keep secrets, and make lots and lots of money and keep your self interests in mind. Compare Dennis Kucinich Or Ralph Nader, Politicians who keep the people in mind, and use politics as a way to make things better, to George Bush Sr., Donald Rumsfeld, or Dick Cheney, Men who hold their self interests to the highest degree, and obviously don't give a shit about the Average Joe, Compare these Politicians, WHO is higher up up on the chain, and who has made a better career in Politics? The second group of course, because they don't care about anyone but themselves, and that is the way politics are played.
