I posted this before, but it's still fun no matter how many times you do it.

 

This question is directed to anyone who tried acid; Is the effect derived from watching this video any similar to visual hallucinations you see when you're on acid?

Er, more like not at all.

I found watching this video didn't make me see the walls change colour and then make the room somehow morph into a tunnel which I was hurtling through at 200 mph and the light at the end wasn't getting closer though the stars were shooting by past pretty fast. The spiders dancing around the network of rivers on my arm never showed either. And I never felt I was realising my true purpose on this planet, the incomparable beauty of life, nature and the universe and that we're all one living, breathing organism functioning together to continue this crazy experience we call existence.

Maybe it was just me but that video didn't really seem to have the same effect....

 

The dude should have just said it's an optical illusion. You know what he meant, so you didn't have to write all that.

 

No. No I didn't. Every single time anyone takes acid they experience exactly what I described above to the letter. If they experienced something different it wasn't acid and they were obviously ripped off and sold an RC.

I know I'm not very funny but surely you must have more of a sense of humour than the pencil stuck up your arse?

I should say I don't like your bolded out sentence though. Nothing is ever exactly the same, and one person may experience something a helluva lot different to that, with real LSD.

I did once but I taped over the VCR of it when Blues Brothers 2000 was on TV. That was a sad day. The tape ran out before the end of the movie and everything.

 

Could have been anytime, various things like that have happened on various occasions over time that was just an example. Last summer me and a couple of friends got through a bottle of liquid, purchased from a German gent, (approx 150 drops - 7/8ml) in under a week so maybe then. By the 3rd day or something we were just squirting it into each others mouths hysterically or spiking each others drinks etc when they left the room and dishing it out to strangers. I was pretty lost that week and had a few experiences not far off the one described...

 

^Hahaha, nice. Man, I can only imagine how fun that would be. How much would a bottle like that cost? And d'you got any tips on buying from reliable sources?

I'm asking all these questions for my benefit, but also for anyone else's whos on this forum.
