Even the UK forums seem to harbour people from strange and remote places (i.e. not Brighton).

Hmm yeah... I do post a lot in other forums but I like it so much more here. Maybe the UKers are secretly some kind of weird alien race that doesn't understand humans, and they don't understand us? Maybe we ARE the only humans, and everyone else is some kind of weird imposter? That would make so much sense.

 

The UK's always had it's own special atmosphere. Maybe it's the place, maybe it's the people, but it's got a real community feel to it. And it's more than a forum. Since lots of people from here have met up at various events, especially over the summer, it has become a community in real life too....

 

I almost went to Brighton on Friday...my friend lives there now. But...I didn't

You guys should arrange a Brighton meet up. There are at least four people I think I've seen on here from Brighton, probably more. Taz is going to be living in Brighton next year, so I expect I'll be down visiting her at some point. We should all meet up....

Back in ye olde days, before I realised there was a UK forum, I posted all over. Random Thoughts was my favourite, but I've not had a good look over there for bloody yonks.

I might go and have a shifty butcher's now.

Then when I've cleaned up and got decontaminated, I'll have a look in Random Thoughts.
