Anyone else read it? Or anything by Pynchon, for that matter?

I have a chapter on The Crying of Lot 49 in my new book, The Hippie Narrative (available through www.amazon.com). Pynchon's early work is an interesting portrait of a conservative/hip young woman in California just as Psychedelia was erupting. The more that Oedipus Maas investigates her late friend's labyrinthine estate, the more cabalistic it becomes.
