Hi I'm from Madeira Island by the Atlantic, is there anyone out there who can talk about the music of your native island? I'm curious about the similar aspect between the musical culture of atlantic islands, but also from all the others around the world, cose it was discovered that an instrument called 'braguinha' or uclecla, the everyone's familiar 'little guitar' that often appears in Hawaii movies, was spread from Madeira Island long time ago. But not getting to serious, anyway, how can you define the music of your native island? There are famous islands due to their music like Jamaica, Cuba, Hawaii... How's your folclore, traditions?
