Actually it was a rabbi who paid for and wanted a lighted Menorrah set up in the airport as well as the trees. He only threatened to file a suit when the airport refused to display the Menorrah. Should get your story right before you use it as an example. They never displayed the Menorrah, but they did put their trees back up.

Personally I would have had no problem with a menorrah being displayed anymore than I am offended by Christmas trees. One is a candlabra, the other a decorated tree...no one is preaching to me so I don't quite understand the distinction.

I wonder what those complaints are? Courtesy and respect for others is does not equate with "loss of backbone". It corresponds with maturity, respect and compassion.

Yes I have. And one of the foundations of our country was trying to accomodate all people, not force right wing christian dominance on all of us.

Hey Gardener didn't know that, the Rabbi had volunteered to help with diverse decorating, good gesture by the Rabbi.

Perhaps that person in Texas would like to volunteer to help decorate the town square. It would save the taxpayers money?

Or perhaps its just more fun to keep grinding that ol axe?
