Denver Fabrics. Some Jo Ann's scores. Also thrifts that don't know a sari when they see one and price it like yardage.
Yeah, I do tend to see some odd pricings at thrift stores for sarongs and wraps. I know a guy who works at one and he always calls me if he has some unusual item, since I live within walking distance... One time someone gave them a hookah.... keep in mind, this is the Disabled Veterans of America, so we were laughing about it and I told him he might as well put it out on display, as I didn't want it, and a guy finally bought it and still has it. JoAnn's is pretty good, I think, but I always seem to end up at Michael's alot more. I've just been re-gaining things I used to do lately and I ended up doing patchwork and decided to go longboarding again, one day.
a local fabric store my mom worked in called "needle and thread" and we make trips to a place called padukah (sp?)
I'm rather new at sewing, but I've gotten a few odds n ends either at FabricLand or Walmart, whatever they're clearing out.
