HI! Now that I've introduced myself in the meet and greet I'd like to ask a question.

I started backcombing 2 weeks ago and finished one week and a day ago. I last washed my hair the day I started. I know you're supposed to wait two weeks right? I'm itching. Would it be reeally terrible to wash now? I'd either do Dr. Bronners or baking soda. What would you recommend? Or do i just have to suck it up and wait?

Any help or suggestions would be gladly accepted!

    Thanks in advance.

There is a Health food chain over here in the UK called holland and barrets, They sell natural or alternitive health food. From there I get my shampoo, I get thursdxay plantation tea tree shampoo....

i would wash em, but just wash the scalp and let the water run down em, be gentle....

dry em good, and try not to mess with em too much.

Read your intro and your dreads look cool, all whispy like.....

just wash it with residue free shampoo.........backcombing is overrated, it's gotta come undone before it can start dreading anyway.

That's not necessarily true, I've backcombed both of my sets of locks, and they never came undone. They just kept tightening and shrinking and growing.
