Im ususally into really heavy things such as the black dahlia murder, job for a cowboy and such.

But bright eyes has become one of my favorites.
    Any one agree?

I definitely agree. They have some great songs such as "When the President Talks to God", "This City Has Sex", and "It's Cool, We Can Still Be Friends".

I used to be really into him and I saw him live a few years back, but I don't listen to him much anymore.

I have all the LP's and downloaded some rarities. I like Connor Oberst a lot, but I can understand why a lot of may not. He just came out with a new EP. too

Yeah, I like Bright Eyes. I have two cds, I was very impressed by the lyrics when I first heard them. All around good music.

The kid is such a fairy. He does have a few good songs, but really it's not my cup of tea. He tries a little too hard to sound like people who have come before him. I notice the Leonard Cohen influence is really noticeable on his latest release.
