Thanks in advance for the help. I've recently made the decision to ditch cable TV, but unfortunately with the TV goes the acceptable price for my DSL. After checking a few sites and finding most to be maddening to navigate and constructed in the style of a choose-your-own-adventure novella, where one must save the page they were viewing because invariably the attractive offer he or she just clicked will lead to a pit full of rusty spikes, I figured I'd get farther just asking on Hipforums. So. Anyone (in the Midwest?) happy with their internet service provider? Got a price range? How often do you deal with service interruptions? An unrelated question: My wireless router (linksys) seems to randomly decide it wants to no longer provide a connection, and I have to unplug it for a few seconds to make it work again. Any ideas?
change your LinkSys wireless channel. make sure that you try a few channels starting with the one farthest away. i have problems with my belkin. belkin sucks though. so far, LinkSys makes the best that i know (opinion)
