Does God care?

That's just silly. We don't have to agree that we were designed intelligently. In fact, if we were designed intelligently then why did my gallbladder fail, or why is my grandmother dying of cancer right now? It would be easier to convince me we were designed intelligently if we didn't get sick, or get broken bones, heart disease, you know the typical body failures....

Looking out the window gives me proof of the natural universe, not any divine being.

 

to me the complexity and diversity of nature suggests that no SINGLE mind could have entirely conceived and micro designed all of it. not without somehow either automating the proccess or having had a LOT of help. or possibly both.

this doesn't mean the're couldn't be something greater then ourselves that loves us and wishes us well.

these are really two very sepperate questions.

it dosn't mean there couldn't be all sorts of nontanbable 'people' and 'creatures' and even landscapes as well, withOUT ALL of them HAVING to be greater then ourselves either.

so i believe there are, or are likely to be, all sorts of things, about which no one KNOWS anything. one or more of which might qualify in your or my perception as 'gods'.

as for "proof" in all of this. that i don't see. if there were absolute proof, well that would be something else again, but what we can observe arround us doesn't require our proof or even our understanding, to exist. if this prooves anything, it is that whatever does exist, is under no obligation to resemble what anyone thinks they know about it.

i have said this b4 but ur shoes.. they have a creator and so does ur house ur car so does the clothes ur wearing so does the world!!! and im so srry ur grandma has cancer and what has happened to u but life is not perfect we all know that but there jesus christ is!!! so if u cant c it u dont believe in it? u c grass so u know there is grass. well have you ever seen YOUR brain? have u ever touched ur brain? then maybe u dont have a brain? (im not trying to say ur stupid) what i am trying to say is that we see the effects of our brain therefore we know we have one.. well i have seen God do miracles so i know there is a God!! i will pray for you and ur family that u'll have ur own miracle that is from God so that u will see, feel, hear, and know God

 

Imagine a universe so big so vast and that has been here for so long maybe never had a biggining.
then imagine try think of a color that is so strange and unique out of our world. A color no human being ever saw before.
A substance a texture that does not exist in our dimension.
If you really can share that.
Imagine infenetly small smaller than dots smaller than hairs smaller than molecules and smaller than atoms Smaller and smaller bigger and bigger.

Then imagine waves electomagnetic waves of particules so small that we will never be able to see them. But so strong that harvested well we run cities on them electricity.



Then religion god stuff so unverifiable so hard to imagine and then tell me I must beleive in it or my life makes no sense? You feel god great I feel vastness complexity great.

Colors are a lot like gods, they only exist in our minds.



I remember one day in high school these hot chicks from down south showed up, I specifically remember one with a tight T-shirt and no bra. They got a bunch of us to go to some youth meeting at the local YMCA. So I couldn’t refuse a free night at the Y with some cute girls. Well it turned out to be some creepy religious southern Christian thing, I didn’t even see the girls that were at school but instead we got to sit and listen to some religious nutbar who told us he was a convicted murderer who “found Jesus” while in jail so now he can travel all over “speeding the word of God”.

So yeah, in the Christian mind you can be going to heaven with convicted murderers or any number of sick twisted fucktards who selfishly and conveniently “FIND GOD” before they kick the bucket while a perfectly kind Jew who’s never hurt a single person in his or her life is going straight to hell. If they’re lucky it will be to “hell” by natural causes because for millions of religious people it not enough just to condemn the others to eternal damnation, they need to help them get to hell by any means necessary. And doing so will of course increase their chances of eternal bliss.

There are 30 billion people on this planet, most believe in God because we have been bred for millions of years to believe in God and worship something or another or be slaughtered. We have evolved the nature of religion and worship just as other instinctive traits.



Not one of these 30 billion people can produce solid evidence that God or any supernatural forces even exist Regardless of this fact you will hear endless STORIES because we have vivid imaginations and we have tendencies to exaggerate if not flat out lie to each other.


Religion has fueled wars and influenced the genocide of tens of millions of people in the last century alone. There may be no way to prove that God doesn’t exist, but at the very least this proves that God has no real influence on man or earth or if he does then God’s intentions are not at all beneficial to the human race or earth in general.

We were not designed intelligently! We are the product of billions of years of evolution. Complexity is a product of time and energy, for the most of us an unfathomable amount of time! The universe does not start with a God like, infinitely complex being!! The universe started with a few simple components, a source of energy, the polar opposite of what we’d call nothing. Energy collects into various elements of matter, matter collects into proteins, proteins attract to more energy and develop more complexity over countless billions of years…

 

as for those girls..... there are always going to say yea im a christian but thats not always the case. christians are not perfect... we have all sinned even those "kind jews" therefore we need a saviour... thats jesus christ. he died so we didnt have to. im sorry you havent found that kind of love...gods love--- ill pray 4 u man----

 

u r totally right love is so important... god said that love is the first and most important commandment.... and gods love is that unimaginable that he would die for the same ppl who hate him....imagine that...i got sumthin else for u..... have u ever seen ur brain? have u ever felt it? im guessing not. but that doesnt mean it doesnt exsist! can u see the wind... nope but we all feel the wind and we see its effects.... i feel god b/c he's changed my life and ive seen his miracles and what his love has done in mylife and in others... im sorry u have never had that.... im not saying u have 2 believe what i do.... jesus never forced ppl so neither will i but if u allow god into ur life u will never regret it. im praying for u man!!!

I hate to burst your bubble there but we’re all going to die! For a lucky few of us it will be instant or painless. For the vast majority of us, we will suffer unspeakable pain for weeks or months. Praying doesn’t do shit for anybody, you might as well plug your ears and burry your head in some sand because that’s about all it equates to in the real world.

Why don’t you stop praying for awhile and go volunteer at a hospital, nursing home or somewhere.



What does God do for you when you’re gasping for breath, reeling in agony?
