i have been trying to lose weight. i eat healthy, excersize but whenever i get high, i get the munchies and just eat so muhc junkfood. who knows any good ways to avoid the munchies?
will power man. But for those lacking it (myself included) i eat before i get stoned and it usually helps out a little.
Eat fruit instead of junk. Its delicious and healthy. Or popcorn or peanutbutter things which have protein. Though i'm totally guilty of just eating chips and candy while high..And i'm a cookie o holic. But yeah, just stick w/ healthy munchie foods. Those rice cake things are pretty ok and carrot sticks.
Go for the watermelon and grapes if you can't resist your munchies Come on. Food and drink in one. =)
Yeah i have the munchies and 4 boxes of girl scout cookies (which we all know contain crack). Its not a good combo.
make a meal beforehand and dont have snack food lying around because youll eat it. its all about the willpower.
the munchies effect is very important for medical users. if you cant stop yourself from eating while on weed, dont try any addictive drugs, cuz ur will power sucks balls
i know its really hard man this summer i lost like 40 pounds while smoking a ton just make sure that your not eating junk foods. get some kettle roasted chips or something. theyre a lot healthier but they taste just as good as regular fried chips. And theyre so damn good munchies. also hommus is good with pretzels or pitas or something. also if its possible just try to avoid places that will have food... try to stay outside or something. the munchies were probably the hardest part about losing weight for me because youll promise yourself you wont eat. then the minute after you smoke your dying to get some food. if you end up eating a lot of food, once your down just do exercise a little bit more. itll speed up your metabolism and help you burn off some of the food you had. its pretty tough, but once youve got the munchies you have to constantly remind yourself that you are trying to lose weight. forgetting your diet every once in a while and just stuffing your face is ok. just dont make it a habit. you can do it man
I was saying that just last night when i was high. I am a vegetarian and for some reason, whenever i get the munchies, i crave meat if i dont have anything to eat. I have never succumbed to it but I hate craving something i know i cant have (which is probably why i crave it, although it doesnt taste very good unless I am high).
Whatever small amount of weight I put on, I can easily lose by not smokin for a couple days... I still eat but just don't have much of an appeptite & I eat way less.
eat healthy snacks. my mom is a nutritionist, so I'm going to tell you straight up what she would say. You don't have to stop eating when you get cravings, but you can replace what your craving with something healthier. Another idea is to smoke before you eat dinner, thus appeasing your munchies without eating extra meals
You could just eat dry cereal or something I guess. It would take so long to consume a whole bowl that you'd hardly gain any weight. Plus the fibre would expand in your stomach like bread and make you more full. I'd rather gain weight though... I'm 6'0" and 150lbs. 150lbs may not sound like a small amount of weight but it's all in my legs (because I bike a lot) and my upper body is only muscle, no fat. If I gained weight from the munchies I'd get high even more, but I don't. Stupid high metabolism.
I have a friend whos battled anorexia for a couple of years and refuses to smoke because she fears the munchies. This morning I had the munchies so i walked downtown to buy yogurt and granola. BUT THEN the fucking girl scouts were waiting outside with a table full of cookies. I couldn't resist, damn those girl scouts!!!!!!!!
is anorexia self developed? because the people that used to be normal and then turn emo, all become anorexic in time - does that mean its caused by stupidity, or an actuall sindrome... :S?
