I get so sick and tired of people bugging me to go places I don't want to go.

Rest is deleted. Sorry but it at least felt good to write.

I don't blame you. Even the thought of going to a club makes me cringe.

I was basically bitching about people wanting me to go to clubs and stuff. Which is the last thing I want to do.

I deleted it cause I felt I was whining too much. It is so annoying though.

    i hate clubs...
the last time i went to one they didnt allow me to enter coz "i looked like i was 17, not 19"
that made me laugh like a madman
anyway clubs are less pleasant than other activities...

a club to me, what that word has always ment most of my life, was a group of people who got togather and formed an organization with bylaws and all that, to support some interest they held in common, like a model railroad club, a railfan club, a science fiction society, a furry fandom, anime fangroups, and so on.

boozoriums to me have always been bars or gin mills, places full of crude idiots that stank of stale beer and stailer piss.

live music venues, where booze is served, i've only been to a very few times. fewer then outdoor and otherwise 'concerts' and 'festivals'. and i haven't really been to all that many of them, although the latter if i could more often afford to i probably would.

so when people refer to a boozorium where music is occasionaly or even regularly performed as a "club", this sounds just absurd to my mind and kind of wrong.

places where alcohaul is served, have, under u.s. laws, very strick, any most often tyrannicly enforced, age limits. music on the other hand, ok there's maybe exceptions to that too now a days, but generaly speaking, is for everybody.

if musicians weren't performing in bars bacause they were getting paid to do so, the whole concept would be a total crock of shit. of course i recognize my disadvantage in this, having grown up in the u.s., where these venues, for the most part, weren't, when i was growing up, like british pubs or whatever they call places in europ, where alchohaul is optional, maybe served, maybe not, and the focus is on entertainment and or being social.

were starting to get those kinds of place now. but for most of the u.s., this is something relatively new, within that past ten or fifteen years mostly.

When you have made a mistake, you must put a picture showing your boobs in your gallery... then your mistake will be forgiven to you !
