    Hi All,

When I was stationed in Kuwait, there was a shack on base that a couple indians (I think) ran, and they sold a meat tortilla thing... Im trying to find out what it is... I'll describe... They had a big piece of meat on a vertical spit, rotating... They used a sharp knife to cut pieces off, then grilled it with spices and chopped peppers and rolled it up in a tortilla... I ate like 8 a day... I didnt even bother with the chow hall... Anyways, I hope somebody can figure out what Im talkin about and point out the name... Thanks!!!

that sounds like a gyros, (yee-rohs) which would be....shwarma in the mid east (gyros is Greek, and probably what you'd find in the states. Shwarma is more readily available in Europe, I recall (long ago).
look for a hopping mid east place or Greek place.
