My mom's theory is most people want to marry someone whom looks like they do. I'll admit many of the couples in the newspaper's wedding section could pass as brother and sister.

In some regards I'm attracted to people with similar features as me--blue eyes, tall, kinda pale...but in general I'm more attracted to darker hair.

I don't think I look for a guy who is sort of similar looking to myself, but what you just said is tooootally true. I always compare a guy's personality to that of my dad's.

 

I personally would NOT want to be married to someone who is like my mother OR my father.

Luckily my husband is nothing like either of them.

Personality wise, I need a girl who's strong willed enough to keep up with me. I'm a handfull.

 

tons of people thought the girl I was fucking before my current girlfriend looked like she could be my sister. people always asked if we were related. and I guess I look somewhat like my girlfriend... but she's way prettier than me (she's got that adorable J.D. Salinger Jewish/Irish thing going on, plus being just plain gorgeous).
