Extraction Process Question

    yes, you will then have a crude extract.
    the number or strength of which will depend what you are mixing with what.
    but as you can see there is lots of yucky chlorophyl and some tar to smoke in there.
    if you can take the extraction to it's powder you will smoke less carcinogen

    It takes such an incrediblly small amount of the stuff...like 1/16th of a teaspoon, that I think the carcinogen angle is negligable. I also doubt that you will be doing it often enough to worry about it.

    i appreciate the comment intellectually but prefer to smoke clean as possible.

    So he would have to do an a/b extraction from here, or is there another way to reduce it to a powder?

    just defat it. Salvinorin is NOT a base and is not fat soluable, Still, I usually just skip that step as messy and unnecessary.

    scrape and add to naphtha and kneed the tar into the naphtha with fingers,
    allow salvinorin to slowly settle out,
    pour off (discard) dark naphtha from cleaned powder - repeat till grey(90%), or till white(99%).
