In the 22nd century, the BBC will have enough money to build a two hundered acre lunar colony on the moon. They will screw up the moon's orbit but I doubt their will be much opposition for the two miilion pound tv licence fee in the year 2100.

You should write it up and see if the BBC will commission it!

sorry if that's what you consider entertainment the sooner the better they pull the plug on the BBC. the BBC. is lost compared to the commercial channels for the money they pull in for the licence fee they should be a whole lot better it's a national disgrace how this company continues it's annual theft year in year out. it's high time the BBC had a watchdog appointed to make sure the viewers were getting value for there money and it should be totally independant of the BBC. THEN WE MIGHT JUST MIGHT ACTUALLY GET SOME VALUE FOR OUR MONEY.

Why would you not let them in? I'd have to say it's because you are a criminal with something to hide. If they really have been pestering you for eight years let them in to have a look, then they will go away ticking the little box on their clipboard that says 'no TV'.
    Idiot.

Let's keep things friendly here. These aren't the American forums. You could have made your point quite clearly without calling Roffa an idiot....

Although I think it tremendously sweet that you are coming to the aid of this baffoon, maybe he is bereft of just the right vocabulary to stick up for himself without over using the words 'yeah, but, like' and 'shut your face', but I'm really not sure that I could. There is nothing quite like the word idiot. Except baffoon, of corse.

Buffoon, now there's a word! Always quite liked that one. But I'm not coming to his aid, nor being sweet, just explaining how this forum works. Abusing another member is against the guidelines. Before you know it, everyone will be abusing everyone, and that just drags this place through the gutter....

I detect with my eyes that this may not be the end of the saga.
    Or the beginning.

It's totally floating somewhere in the middle. Like, not at the beginning.. and not at the end.. but inbetween. Somewhere.

    Nobody knows where.

    Nobody.

an independant overseer to stop the BBC . WASTING OUR MONEY. these so called watchdogs are a joke they need to more accountable. to the public which they definitely are not. we have more channels now than ever before. could some one explain to me why we need them now. and why they can continue to keep getting money for a service which most people want rid of. and an end to this licence robbery. year in and year out we simply do not need this overpaid institution anymore

The BBC mafia have just sent me a new schedule of payment details for my next licence. I look forward to when digital switch off takes place. Atleast new technology could be introduced to enable the BBC channels to be encrypted so we can choose to subscribe like we can with say Sky or Virgin media.

At the moment we don't have a choice. Even if we cannot recieve BBC channels because we have an ex pc monitor hooked up to a satelite kit. Either Hotbird or Astra1.

The BBC make so much money out of us Brits, that they could buy the African continent and create and develop this afflicted continent. Of course they would be banned from Zimbabwe but Mugabi might take a bribe.
