I don't know, just whenever I hear the word, whoever says it, my brain automatically translates it to sound like Woody Harrelson as Larry Flynt.
And the fact that his "shirt" or whatever that leotard-looking thing is supposed to be strangely resembles a spiral cut ham.
Ha. I never noticed that. At least it covers his "mullet" though. Which brings me to all the annoying cute terms guys call their dick.
faggot gay (as in, thats so gay, when used as an insult. otherwise i dont give a shit) punani yoni and a lot of the other euphemisms for genitalia
i hate the word "ditto" its so cliche and an easy way out for saying "i love you too" if someone says it to me i get so mad! i dont even know why. i hate the sound of it too... it sounds like some sort of sesame street character.
Ooh, ditto is a good one! It reminds me too much of dildo to use in everyday speech. It doesn't mean "i love you too", though, it just means "agreed".
Well I say "hubby" because "husband" sometimes sounds so prim and proper in certain situations, I say "like" quite a bit (I don't mean to, it's just habit), and sweetie, I definitely say a lot. Oh well. I can't honestly think of any words people say that truly bother me besides swear words. Not that I myself haven't uttered them on occasion, but very rarely.
I don't like hubby either, but it doesn't really bother me when other people use it. Just that I'd never use it myself. Not that I have a husband or anything but if I had. For some reason, I really don't like the word womyn. I only ever see it here in the forums though. But it just looks retarded and makes me wanna scream "it's WOMAN!!!". But hey... it's just a word. I agree with hippychickmommy about the swear words. I swear so rarely that when I'm around people who do it a lot it really bothers me. I know they're just words and it's not that the words as such bother me, it's more like... it just sounds bad when someone swears a lot. Hurts my ears if you will.
