I make a killer stirfry, but my signature dish is spaghetti:

    onion
    garlic
    portabella
    fake meat
    ^simmered in olive oil
    juice of two tomaters
    tomater sauce
    basil
    oregano
    parsley
    marjoram
    black pepper
    on thin spaghetti au dente

That actually does sound good except for the fake meat...I'd add bacon, beef and proscuito.

I can make a few cool things, but almost all the time I just chuck some chicken, bell peppers, onions and spices and simmer it in coconut milk, add some fresh herbs, lime juice etc. and serve on rice.

I personally like my balsamic glazed chicken and my random shakshukah best.

People seem to like my sushi (which anyone can make, really), my italian herbs chicken, and my sweet barbecue corn and chicken over charcoal.

The best I can do is steam veggies and rice.
I hated my cooking classes coz I'd burn everything!
    lol.
But I'd have to say that the meals I love is vegetarian pizza (cheese, mushroom and pineapple is my fav)
I cook my own meals every night as im the only vegetarian in my family :D good practice

Hmmm, I don't know, but my husband would say my pepperoni rolls, my individual Mexican pizzas, and probably my stroganoff.

I have the sudden craving for fresh baked carrot cake. Too bad I'm not much of a baker. My mom could always churn out the cookies cakes and pies, it's a mystery how I never got fat.

The ultimate BLTs, cornbread, Butternut squash ravioli w/portobello cream sauce, shrimp gumbo, veggie-stuffed baked Spanish Mackeral glazed with sun dried tomato, grilled/smoked salmon, and several veg. caviar/salsa/bean dips, low-country shrimp/crab boil, hot spinich dip, several types of po' boys, Adventurer (black bean cakes, fresh mixed greens, onions, and cheddar cheese, wrapped in a grilled flour tortilla with hot sauce/salsa on the side), beer battered chicken tenders, seasoned potato wedges, portobello burger, steak salad (I've never really been one for steak, but I can make it) and oysters rockefellar... I also have made hemp granola that's pretty good, but I prefer Trader Joe's. I also make a rather mean shrimp roll, but I'd like to learn other Sushi. I just find shrimp rolls funny... :D And I'm not even going to start on BBQ.

(I sound like a dang upscale TGI Friday's/Cheddars menu or something)

^ My favorite restaurant, right now... on Caroline (main) street in Fredericksburg, VA

^ Cheddar's is probably the best chain restaurant I know of, and I got my Spinich dip idea from them, the adventurer came from Sammy's. I just got a job at Ruby Tuesday, but I think their stuff is pretty rank for what you pay. Olive Garden is alright.

Dips and things generally originate from either... crazy ideas I have or Lulu Buffett (Jimmy Buffett's sister)

And... this restaurant on Hatteras Island, NC. I'm a friend of the owner... actually, we met while trout fishing one day. He needed help landing and netting a citation and we were nearest to him. He invited us over for free food (he invites people to celebrate the end of tourist season, every Fall.... cooks up all the leftover food in the freezer and has an open bar) :D That's probably my favorite way of meeting people, though... while fishing/at concerts/festies. He used to pay this dude to go spearfishing for him, so that he'd have the freshest seafood on the island... :D I miss ol' hat.

Down Under Restaurant & Lounge $$
    NC 12, Rodanthe
    (252) 987-2277

This Australian-style restaurant is family friendly and offers wonderful views of the sound. Decorated with authentic Australian art and memorabilia, Down Under is one-of-a-kind on the Outer Banks. Lunch specialties include the Great Australian bite, similar to an Aussie burger, made with hamburger, a fried egg, grilled onions, cheese, and bacon. Spicy fish burgers, Vegemite sandwiches, and marinated chicken sandwiches are good authentic options, too. Kangaroo, a deli- cious meat that is very popular at Down Under, is imported from Australia for 'roo stew, 'roo burgers, and kangaroo curry. Try the stuffed jalapenos served with Down Under's famous sweet chile sauce. Dinner selections include Down Under shrimp stuffed with jalapeno peppers and cream cheese wrapped in bacon. Enjoy a side order of the foot-high onion rings and a Foster's lager or Cooper's Stout. Parents will appreciate the children's menu, and kids will appreciate the extraordinary decor. Everyone will enjoy the view. Down Under is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner from April through early September. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. Large parties, rentals, catering, and reservations are always welcome.

Everything else just came from fishing for Mobjack Bay Seafood and going to various beach restaurants I've been to from the Chesapeake bay on down to the gulf coast of Florida. Uh.... I think TR's or TJ's.. I can't remember the name, but there's a restaurant/cafe in Clearwater, Florida that I based alot of stuff on, Crab's Claw Restaurant in Atlantic Beach, North Carolina...

I think learning to perfect the pecan pie would be in order, but they're so off the chart when it comes to eating healthy. :D Peach Cobbler... that's always nice too. I used to be big on diversifying breakfast, but I've just reverted to the american primivitism movement (eh, odd that I can associate john fahey, leo kottke, and music with cooking, but the music influences the cooking) on that one, though I just like granola and fiberous cereals, these days.

    yay cooking.

My best would be a tie between homemade bread (especially rosemary and garlic foccacia - with a touch of chilli for spice lovers) and this pasta:
    Four about 4 people -

Get a roasting dish, chuck in a few handfuls of kalamata or black chilean olives, two punnets/cans of cherry tomatoes, a block feta broken into about 6 chunks, chopped garlic gloves, a sprinkling of fresh pepper add a dash of olive oil, gently stir together and roast it all for about 20 mins or until the tomatoes have burst and kind of melted into the feta.

while that's roasting cook some penne until al dente and wash and tear up a couple of handfuls of basil leaves.

Then stir it all together and serve with crusty bread, green salad and yummy red wine.

    sex on a plate....and it's easy too...
