Farenheitt 9/11

Sunnycynic, I can see your point of view entirely, and I can see why you would think that way. However, just for a moment, entertain the idea that perhaps George Bush is not quite as ignorant as he makes himself out to be, or better yet does not care about such trivial things....it's much easier for sheeple to make excuses for a stupid man than it is to make excuses for the intelligent. George Bush is still a pawn, however I do not believe he is as stupid as he and other people make him out to be.........that is simply a convenient explanation to atrocity.

 

It's not so much his mistakes with English. It's his total lack of expertise in knowing how to deal with other countries. He's never been outside of the world of Texas. The rest of the administration is that way as well. For example, insulting allies and then going back to them and asking for help. Invading Iraq and then asking Syria and Iran to be good neighbors and help. The administration is totally clueless. It's like kids insulting their parents and then going back and asking for their allowance.

Bush is not making any of the major decisions. He is a frontman. A Puppet. That's all. He does what he's told.

 

I really wonder sometimes about people. Ever since farenheit 9/11 came out there has been a ton of people criticizing Bush about how he kept on reading that childrens book after he was told the country was under attack. Ok, lets be real here, what the hell was he supposed to do then? Run around the room screaming like an idiot and cry in a corner, hes a president he has to remain calm even if on the inside he's freakin out, I mean think about it, what was he supposed to do.

I mean chances are he already knew it was going to happen or was going on at that moment and had no worries at all, so theres your answer, thats why he just kept on reading that book because he knew it was happening and was prepared for it. Either way hes not going to address the kindergarten kids and tell them about something they don't care about, like they even know what a terrorist is anyway, come on.

I just don't understand why people focus on that one thing, its just stupid. But I guess presidents are supposed to cry and scream when they realize that theres been a terrorist attack, or they're supposed to address a bunch of 5 year olds....

 

He didn't know what to do because he's never been in a position to make his own decisions. He just sat there and bit his lip. And people feel safe with that guy?

Even the firefighters were laughing at him in NY when he met with them on the rubble pile. Of course, the general public never got to see what was on the satellite feeds. The corporate media cut out the jeering by the firefighters. They only showed that little 10-second soundbite clip at the end when he was leaning on that firefighter with the bullhorn and made that one statement about 'they're all going to be hearing from us'..

What's the guy doing addressing a bunch of 5 year olds in his brother's state anyway? He should be running the country instead. After 911 instead of offering some condolences to the relatives of the victims he tells everyone to go out and have a vacation and spend money in his brother's state.

decaying, really....did you not see his face when he was told what had happened? it was the "oh shit!" face. of course he's not supposed to address the kindergartners. of course they don't know what's going on and wouldn't even if you explainded it to them. and of course he's not supposed to run screaming. but he's certainly not supposed to let the entire world know where he is, via satellite, as he did. by broadcasting from that classroom, with the children behind him, he let all his enemies and everyone else know where he was, thus putting all the kids' lives in danger. suppose someone had seen and decided to drop a bomb or fly a plane into the school with the intention of harming HIS ass? all those innocent children would've died, too. i suggest you think a little before sounding off about him running or screaming. noone expected him to do that, because of course it's not acceptable behavior.


shaggie, you are right about his attitudes toward other countries, and his ability to run his own. he lives in a bubble, a magical world where all of america loves him and he's a true texan. (he was born in new england-just listen to bush, sr.'s accent, and w.'s affected one)

and finally, all who have called him a pawn or a puppet are mostly correct. he mostly does what cheney, rice, and his daddy tell him, and even then manages to fuck up. he's a furry mascot for chauvenists, racists, and elitists. everything in his life has been handed to him on a silver platter.

 

Just no, everything you wrote, just stop. "let his enemies know where he is" that is irrelevant because like I said he knew 9/11 was happening, he was part of it, so the enemies aren't really there, you see. Are you getting it now?

 

oh, he knew what was going on? like YOU said? i'm supposed to believe that just because YOU said? okay. if you know so much more about 9-11 and what was going on, stuff the media hasn't covered, since only stupid people like me are just satisfied watching the news and documentaries, tell me how you know all this. were you there when the feds planned it? did bush call you and talk to you? seriously, i'd love to know your sources. i'd love to be as informed as you are.

 

I don't know everything but I do know whats rational thinking and whats just plain wrong, I mean your acting as if he should have rushed out of the building because a theres enemies in the trees or bushes ready to assasinate him, its just plain nonsense. Be realistic, the United States has the best intelligence, the U.S. is intelligence, we own the satellites that spy on the bad guys, don't you think we might have saw it coming, perhaps allowed it to happen?

Think about the economic gains we have now since we have been based in Iraq, we have major oil control, and the oil companies are seeing unbelievable skyrocketing of their profits ever since we layed foot over there, it all ties back to money because thats what its all about. People are getting very very rich on the Iraq war and we won't hear about these people, we only hear about the democracy we are spreading, the freedom. Think about it..

 

it's very hard to track activities occuring in caves millions of miles away, no matter how advanced your technology. it happened because the first thing bush did once in office was fire all clinton's staff, who were the best and perhaps the reason nothing happened while he was in the white house.

of course we're in iraq for bush and his cronies to make oil money. they've done nothing to the united states. saudi arabians flew those planes on september 11. so why are we not in saudi arabia, but in iraq, a country that has never provoked or threatened us in any way? because the bin laden's, who, might i add, were flown by bush to paris after 9-11 even though all air traffic was suspended, are saudi arabian. they've always been close to the bush family and have made investments in each other's oil companies. we're in iraq for oil, and not in saudi arabia because he doesn't want to mess up the oil money he rakes in from there

-look up engineering accounts of how the twin towers collapsed, and watch the video of them collapsing closely, then watch a building demoloition, notice any similarities?
-why did NORAD stand down on 9/11 since the first time of its inception, why were they for the first time I might add, having a "training" scenario where airliners flew into the wtc on 9/11 (mirroring reality)
-HUGE insurance policies were taken out on the wtc
within days of 9/11
-What happened to the bombs placed on the George Washington bridge, and the 4 non Arabs arrested.......then nothing was ever mentioned about it again.
-firefighters radioed that the fire was mostly out preceding the collapse, yet these tapes were "lost"
-why did they demolish building 5 on 9/11, it's been admitted that they "pulled" the building which is demo speak for implosion, it takes weeks to set the charges for an implosion, why were they there already? (Securities and Exchange Commission records were in building 5)
-The twin towers were specifically designed to withstand impact from 747's.
-Never in the history of the world has a skyscraper collapsed due to fire, after 9/11 a building in spain that was roughly the size of the wtc towers burned for 2 days, yet it still stands today. The wtc towers only burned for about 50 minutes.
-San Francisco mayor Willie Brown as well as many others were warned not to fly on 9/11.

Research these things......and if you think i'm wrong in any of my statements, show me proof to the contrary.
