Hey all, I'm having a St. Patrick's day party and I was just wondering if anyone had some suggestions for some good irish style jig music, or modern day versions like flogging molly etc.

    well??????

Check out the Pogues for another great irish folk/punk band, great tunes. They're leaning more towards folk then punk sometimes, but I dig them more then Floggin Molly for instance. Shane McGowan is one hell of a charachter. I bet you like them!
Of course on St. Paddy's day there should be some songs of the Dubliners as well. Some other bands more in the vein of Floggin molly are of course Dropkick Murphies (bit more hardcore punk though), Real McKenzies and Blood or Whiskey.
For jigs and reels try Irish folk rock bands like the Chieftains or Albion band.

Um... Mourning Beloveth are Irish... but they're not quite the music you're probably looking for.
