seems taledega might have some family in its beautiful mountains really soon. i plan to check out the forest around the 23rd or so. love u all
i'm from alabama. i'm from mobile, though. how far away is talladega from mobile. i hear about it all the time, thanks to nascar... but i still don't know where it's at in the state. it's sad, bc i've lived in alabama for almost 19 years,
These are the directions & dates I have: "this years gathering in alabama will be from the 21st of march to the 7th of of april.seed camp should be the 24th of march.clean up starts when you get there. the derections are; exit 199 north off interstate 20 take highway 9 north to heflin alabama.take a left on 78 east you will have to veer left in about a mile then go 7.5 miles. turn left on f.s. road 66 toward coleman lake.this road will turn to gravel in about 8 miles.1 more mile and welcome home" Be prepared for cold & wet weather, severe thunder storms, maybe a toronado if you're lucky. It's a really lousy time of year to go camping in the Southeast. And don't ask me why the howdy folks here has seed camp starting 3 days after the gathering start date. I'm just cutting & pasting here.

oo I had no idea this was about to go down. I really hope I can make it. Is the purported seed camp date something to worry about, or are you guys planning to show up on the 21st? If anyone who's going would like to talk on AIM or something, I'd love to get to know you (I will probably be traveling alone, so it'd be great to know someone in advance).
