drinking and purchasing age in belize

hey everyone im leaving for belize on sunday and im 16, i know the drinking age in belize is 18. my question is, is it easy to get away with purchasing alchohol in belize if you are underage. thank you

P.S. how easy is it find good marijuana or just any marijuana in belize, thanks again.

 

It can be done but since you don't know your way around you have to weigh all your options. Those mexican jails can be very hard on a guy.

 

Purchasing alcohol - Pointlessly easy, especially if you have gringo money and don't buy it at a resort or hotel... just go to a "Pulperia" and buy some there.

Ganja? Yeah, there's plenty and it's cheap... don't let them rip you off. Just walk down the beach and look for the rastas or the hip cats selling jewerly.
