For the firsth time in my life...

So, I'm trying to do something new every day, you know, "carpe diem" and stuff , I'm trying to enrich every single day by doing something I haven't done before...My question for you is : what is it that you've done today that you haven't done ever before?

I mean, it is 11 past 00.00 now, but i will just speak for hte past day, if you don`t mind. I read Fjodor Dostojevskjis "The Idiot" for the first time and I am still stunned by what he writes...

That's exactly what I've meant, I began reading Rembrandt's biography today, and it's not that incredible or glamorous, but I haven't done that before and it's a new experiance for me

 

I compsed a new song on my guitar and im composing a anthem for my organisation.

Its good to do things for the first time lol. Stretching.

I guess ill add some ham in the egg and cheese sandwich I do pretty much every morning now.

Oh and go see my grandma at her centre for the second week in a row. Usually more space between visit, i was bad one yeah. Grandparents are really important. They dont need much to be happy, often, your only presence to make them smile.

hey...wow, today I actually made a commitment like that.

Like...I feel like I haven't been living. At all.

Something I've never done before-today I felt good something I'd done. I know that's kind of depressing...

OOh, and I got to my lit class on time. lmao. I think I'm going to watch the sun rise today. That's something I've never done outside of a car or bus.

 

I've been standing alone in the middle of a huge, empty room with no lights and listening to "Someone To Love" by Jefferson Airplane. It way a cool experience.

 

My town's participating in a big prom dance for Guiniss' book and we had our first rehearsal today...

Also, today I'm starting to organize a humanitary concert, wish me luck with that...

I was going to post a reply, but then I sat and thought, and I realised I haven't done anything today for the first time - so thank you for making me think about that! I'm going ot follow your example and try to do new things everyday - it is so easy to get stuck in a rut. One thing that is "almost" new I'm doing - listening to a Nico album that I haven't heard for 20 years. Not new, but different from usual...

 

I joined this forum.. I guess that's a kind of lame one, but if I hadn't joined, I wouldn't have come across this and been inspired to do something new! So really, this is the most important daily new thing that I'll ever do, since if I didn't do it, I wouldn't start doing new things.

 

I've learned how to spell "first" correctly!
