aight well I got that stuff... today when I went to the pharmacy with my mom... I was going to get a big bottle.. which contained the reguler (15 ml) is 30 mg of DXM

    this DELSYM DM stuff is

Each teaspoonful (5 ml) contains dextromethorphan polistirex equivalent to 30 mg dextromorhphan hydrobromide.

Im just wondering if it is alright to take this stuff cause I never heard of "dextromethorphan polistirex" just came to ask if it still good to robo off this stuff..

This is a LONG acting form of DXM. It lasts for 12 hours, there are little beads in it that release after time in your digestive tract.

In recommended doses, it is safe (I've given it to my kids) but I'd be careful trying to Robotrip with it, it could last quite a while, and there is no telling what dose would be workable.

    Be careful.

one third a normal DXM does, no more. (or you'll be high for two, maybe three days)

polystirex is as it sounds - like polystirene. but with a drug attatched. the polystrirex makes it hard for your body to absorb until broken down by certain enzymes (and not by certain others, if you get what i mean)

Right, it is made so that the beads of DXM, covered with polystriex dissolve in your small intestine, hours after you take it, so you don't have to dose again....for a cough.

I can't imagine why anyone would want to Robotrip for 2 or 3 days. I guess it's an aquired taste. LOL.

Delsym works pretty much the same as regular DXM for me, except that it takes longer to kick in and lasts a little longer, I suppose...

Drugs are different for different people, especially pharmaceuticals.

You guys are nuts. Yes, I'm ressurecting an old thread but I prefer delsym over robo (its thinner, never makes me puke, and I can't be arsed with extraction) and it does last long, but never 2-3 days for me. At the most, a day. You're not tripping the whole time, but the afterglow lasts awhile.

Delsym is my favorite way to do DXM. It tastes better then anything else, and though it lasts long it is PLEASANT. I wouldn't want a regular trip on robo to last that long, it just wouldn't be fun. Delsym is more euphoric for some reason.
