Just want to know what you think of some topics I made in the Agnostic/Atheist Sectio

I just made 5 thought provoking topics there.

What I really want you guys to look at though are these 2 topics
"Religion/ belief in God is largely genetic & spiritual feelings are actually neural "
and
"Faith: a Release of Insanity That no Rubber Room Can Contain "

 

The problem I see is still as well put as this seems is that it has no facts, but 'facts' aren't something I believe in.
As for Faith, hmmmmm whenever you get into faith vs logic the whole thing turns nonsensical quickly b/c the debate is in different words, language. It's something language can't convey, like Zen or whathaveyou. I mean we use faith every second of our lives that this or that tragedy won't happen, putting our kids on a school bus. But thats not what you are talking about here. You can get scripture quotes and opinions only and neither is of use to you and the rest isn't in words. The "Book" I am no fan of so I have no more to say about it than you so as the article said it's something a percent of people experience.
The question really I guess then is it a mental affliction or effect or God? who knows? lol
This is something I've wondered for years b/c while I can see things I also possess a lucid enough mind to question it crazy as that seems at the time, the power of it
so, no I couldn't tell you one way or another but Im not sure it matters. Im not a convert type, they annoy me my beliefs have only worked for the best and maybe thats b/c it's not book founded. If Im just trying to imitate Jesus and none of it's real, thats good enough for me no matter how far I fall short as long as I keep trying I prefer a spiritual life to any material anyways, my greed lol If u are against Christianity I doubt I would have much I wouldn't agree with you on. judgement, hell, this gay media issue, wars...i have nothing to do with that. It works b/c it's not fear based, I had 'real' experiences and see only love in "God" as for fairies and elves and pixies....why not?
