Why when people post petitions on here noone seems like they are willing to sign them. We're all here for the same purpose which is to talk about saving the environment and the animals but noone seems like theyre willing to do anything to help?
two reasons: online petitions have little weight with decision makers (you should hear how they get dismissed by park and rec types) and two, posting a bunch of links ands not contributing can get you barred from the site.
tom58 - I did a Google search for "petition signing online", and there were 3,420,000 results returned! There were petitions in that list for anything you can think of. I did see a number of petitions relating to animals and the environment, so you might want to do a similar search and see what you discover. I don't know about submitting petitions within this forum - seems like it would be a good format to get people involved; but if it is true that it might get you barred from this site, you'd want to refrain from it here. ive actually never seen a petition on this site but I do know if you feel strongly about pettitions that you should bring them to a school or work place at my school I got a lot of petitions against KFC's cruelty.
Sometimes petitions are the only way people feel they can make their voices heard so it does no harm to sign up imo.
