Northeastern Montana's badlands are where the outlaws and cattle hustlers of the Old West would go make there hideouts - The Native Americans won't go in the badlands because it means - the land of bad spirits.

Wow, that photo of the sun shining through the snow is beautiful - so atmospheric, you can almost feel the cold!

 

I just checked this thread. I saw the pic of the Live Oak in SC and thought it was my Hometown. I was just at a plantation that has some of those huge trees. I love how the limbs grow down into the ground and back out. One of the many things that facinate me day to day
