Why only Amsterdam?

Im just wondering, why is it that most people only go to Amsterdam? Like its the only city we have. And if its for the drugs: you can buy those everywhere.

 

cuz Amsterdam is so cool. thats why. its a beautiful city what can i say

 

I would have liked to visit The Hague while I was other there, but did not have the time. I'm told that it is a great city.

 

that Amsterdam is cool doesnt mean everything else isnt.

 

I live near Den Haag, i like it there, i usually just go shopping or visit my granny haha.

 

well i could say the same about Paris. When pple come to France they only wanna see Paris. When u kno France a bit, u kno Paris is so not representative of the rest of France, and that there are a lot of beautiful places to see elsewhere.

But Paris is cool. And a beautiful city in certain aspects. Just like Amsterdam.

So i dunno, they're the cities that are the most advertised?

 

I guess. I go to France every year, camping and all that, and i cant stand it when people go to Paris and say theyve seen France. I havent even seen all of France.

 

been to den hagen,rotterdam,enschede and haarlem.

they're all holland but amsterdam is just another country.

 

Theyre all The Netherlands, Holland means Noord and Zuid Holland, wich are 2 of the 12 provinces. Anyway, i guess Amsterdam is different, but i think its not the only thing worth a visit.

 

north and south arent very different in holland anyways....

 

I have been to Amsterdam, Haarlem, Delft, Leiden and Volendam I'm also going in September and plan on visiting Amsterdam, Haarlem, Delft and Den Haag but will also try to see Scheveningen and Beverwijk as well, I love The Netherlands love the people love the food and yes I do love the weed as well but if there wasn't any drugs I 'd still come and stop

In Holland or in The Netherlands? Because in Holland are the bigger cities, and North and South Holland dont differ that much if you ask me. The North and South of the Netherlands do.

 

Im glad you like it haha, you should visit Maastricht, in the very south, too its a beautiful city.

I thought the difference between "the netherlands" and "holland" was the colonies. Thanks for teaching me smthng new btw.

One of my biggest dreams is to buy me a boat, set sail from the bosporus, sail to the Black Sea and up to the Baltic sea via the Danube and then "park" on one of the canals of Amsterdam and just smoke a big fat joint on the "porch"
(the deck).

I'd also like to see the huge tittied cow milking girls in the countryside. But the "bestest" ones I saw were the ones riding on the bikes.

because it's the capital, capitals are always the most famous cities of a country, so it's just logical that the most people will go to the capital... but whatever you do, don't visit amstelveen, I live there, it's boring as hell, and easy to get from amsterdam... too easy *shudders*
