Ok lately, I have been having some dreams, now normally I rarely have dreams and they never make any sense, but more and more I have had dreams about someone ripping out everyone of my dreads or all of them jsut falling out at once, but it happens in places i know so it seems so real, after these dreams I usually wake up in tears, I know dreams arent real and I dont believe they predict the future or anything like that, but it cant be too healthy im guessing.

But I was wondering if anyone had gone through something like this, maybe its because I love them too much and I cant stand the thought of them leaving my head, maybe becuase it is going to happen, I dont know, can someone help me.

your dreams could be coming from your fear of loosing them, the dreams dont mean that they are going to spontaniosuly fall out though... your dreads falling out in the dream could just be representing your fear of change or something of the sort. maybe look deeper into the dream if you can remember them...

*sigh* well from what i remember, last night I was walking through the hallyways of my school and i think it may have been someone i was talking to, right in the middle of a conversation ripped out all of my dreads around my bang area, it didnt hurt at all, but I believe there may have been some laughing by them and a few people around, I dont remember anything past this

i can't interpret dreams, but either you just don't remember your dreams and have them, or you're sleep deprived. if you're sleep deprived you need to find out why and get that shizz fixed.

Could be a metaphor come true in your dreams, "i'm so stressed I'm ripping my hair out" or "I'm so stressed my hair is falling out"?

If this were my dream, i'd first think about what my dreads mean to me. Do they symbolize freedom? Beauty? A natural way of life maybe? So, if you have this dream where your freedom/beauty/natural way of life is slowly ripped out from you... could you look at some event in your life right now, reminding you of that?

"maybe its because I love them too much and I cant stand the thought of them leaving my head". Could there be something else that you are very attached to, that maybe is an attachment that causes more fear and anxiety and steals energy from you, as expressed in the dream, than good? Maybe your subconscious/whatever is pointing at that... That's how i would interpret it anyway. :)

ive had dreams where someone cuts off my dreads or ill just be combing my hair and its all straight and i start crying because im like it took me 2 years to get this far with my dreads and now ive just combed them out. its not like i can just put them back how they were ya know. I HATE THOSE DREAMS they make me so sad haha.
-i think it is because the love i have for my dreads, i wouldnt know wat to do if i lost them, or someone cut them off. it would be devestating i think lol

Well do you think that dreams can predict the future? From my experience, of keeping a dream diary and actively discussing my dreams with other people for 3 years now, dreams are excellent mirrors for showing where you are in life right now and if it's a dull picture in the dream, there's still plenty of time to change your life situation now. Dreams can be your little mirror helpers, not final prophecy . :rainbow: In that sense, there are no negative dreams, they can only make you more conscious.

I've had a few dreams about my dreads that worry me. In my dream, I'm separating my dreads and accidently pull one out. Then I get really upset, not so much because of a bald spot but because I feel dumb like I can't take care of myself properly. Last night's dream I was with people, one of whom was a guy i just started dating, and I was really embarrassed that they would see what I did.
