me and my buddy where walkin up the road towards mainstreet to go get his gf , right at fas gas, out of nowhere 2 cops come up. One cop is talkin to some kids in a truck for a second. then theyr lookin at my buddy sayin "why are you shaking, give us your dope" then one takes him behind fas gas and the other tells me that 'I have dope, and he will find it if I dont give it up' well unfortunatly I had nuthin for the bastard so he searched me and still found nothin. my buddy came back with the other cop, who made him pour out a full oz of some good green and stomp on it till it was shake....poor weed. But what I dont understand is why the fuckers came out of nowhere and did this random search. But then again who knows what they where talkin to the kids in the truck for. On top of that no charges where dropped , even tho where both on probation.(Im on probation for possesion of marijuana already).
they made him rub it in good enough so we couldnt pick it up after. it jus strikes me as odd, random cops, random search. like wtf.

my best friends dad is a retired cop and hes great he tells us what the cops can and can't do-- he knows that we use drugs and stuff.. they live in a duplex so he lives in one end and my buddy lives in the other and he's walked in on us sometimes and stuff.
Whenever a cop stops you randomly...or even just stops you...tell them you don't have time and can't talk to them. The only way for them to detain you then is to read you your rights. Cops won't usually volunteer to do all the bullshit paperwork, so they'll always let you go. Let them suspect what they want....as you walk away....with all your shit still in tact and on your person.
Cops can do alot which is unethical. They can lie and the judge will back them up. Always keep that in mind. Remember its a war. Bill

Haha, you could have refused the search and walked away. Its complete illegal what they did. Random searches are strictly illegal, because they violate privacy laws. Congratulations for losing an ounce, you cop tool. Stand up to the pigs man!

here is a prime example of why the "war on drugs" doesn't work. they make you dump out your oz, "taking drugs off the streets." but then you just go buy more and perpetuate the sale of drugs even more. its stupid. but really, there was no reason for them to search you guys. did your buddy willingly take out the oz, or did they search him. if they searched him, did he consent to a search? because without a warrant or consent, they can't do that. its called the 4th amendment. i hate how cops are constantly trying to bypass the constitution.
Im from alberta, like 5 minutes out of edmonton passed spruce grove(youll know if we're local jus by that sentence ). also to viruks post I couldnt stand up to them, you ever notice how they keep on askin/talkin without giving you the proper time to explain anything, and if you try to make your voice louder so he notices he keeps cutting off your sentences then he threatens with "your on probation with conditions to keep the peace, you wanna go to jail tonite?"
well he was shaking mad, which I was telling him not to when he was pulling up our records. because I told him that hes watching right now hes not readin shit hes jus seein what we;re up to (thank you barry cooper ). but after he went "whats in your pockets" about 10 times he pulled the ounze out and handed it over. Saved himself actually because they didnt search him then, which ment they never found the scale he used to make sure the weight was right. which prevented him from getting a possible trafficking charge. hahah the funniest part was it WAS a drug dealers oz, when my buddy called him back all he said was "ok no problem Ill bring u another" hahahha. shows how many drugs they actually take off the street. like the cop that came over at 2 in the morning for the fireworks we set off( no permit). I noticed the cops eyes where dialated like querters. and he kept mumblin. yet he still managed to act like a dick. threatening me with searches when he coulda just asked for the 2 mesely fireworks I would of just handed over to him anyways.
yeha man, neither of you had to acutally allow the search to be performed on you guys, you just gave up your rights cuz of a panic attack. the only reason they can search you for weed is if they have a reasonable proof for why they think you have it, etc. etc. something like, they see you stuffing a baggie in your pocket, or saw you smoking a pipe from their rearview mirror, or them smelling it, but otehrwise they have no right, and you have the right to refuse being searched.
