Greetings from Michigan! My name is Jamie and I am new to the site. I guess I am posting this greeting in hopes of maybe meeting people like me from all types of walks. I am a college student from Mt. Pleasant Michigan and I guess I've got some pretty hippy-like ideals. I've found people around here with similar philosophies but all in all my college experience has made me apathetic towards my surroundings. I'm looking to branch out... Explore the world before the inevitable tides of society suck me in and i've got the obligation to settle down. I realize I am open to MILLIONS of options and I am looking for some good ones. I'm a pretty open minded gal with an appreciation for conversation. Talk to me. Be my friend. I welcome people of all ages to share some wisdom or advice for a seemingly lost college drop-out with the world at her fingers. I guess this is just me reaching out for enlightenment and experience. So enlighten me with some good conversation or advice in your posts! Peace. -Jamie (aim) mellamojamief http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=126667040
Hey there Jamie; Welcome to The Hip Forums....Allow me to extend the welcome mat….I know what it’s like to be a newcomer….You don’t really know what to say or how to act….Read some of the threads so you can get the gist of what topics are being discussed….When you feel comfortable jump right in and get your feet wet….Nobody here is going to "Flame" you (unless it’s necessary) lol….We get some assholes here who just want to stir up bad vibes and there are several (they go unnamed).…From what I’ve found so far is that we are one big family with many brothers and sisters….Once again the doors open come on in, open up your heart and mind, put on some groovy tunes, kick back and stay awhile….Peace, Love & Great Big Hugs, DDR Quote of The Day Oscar Wilde: "Most people are other people….Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation."
