first time grower help

im going to grow one plant in my garage ive got my lighting sorted and was wondering if a fan and a hydroponicsystem is essential ive read a book on growing weed but theres lots of info in there about stuff id need to buy but its alot of stuff us ut all needed for one plant or is all that for a room full plz help

 

if your growing one palnt a hydroponics kit is not essential just keep it in a pot big enough for the plant and its roots, correct temps, ph so on

 

Why are you just going to grow one plant? What if it's a male? If you're starting from seed you should start with at least three seedlings to improve your odds of having at least one female - even that's no gaurentee! If space is a problem, they start out real small, by the time they are competing for space you can eliminate the males.

As a beginner I would reccomend you start off with soil, hydroponics is more complicated. You will have enogh to learn just figuring out how the plant works.
What a single plant needs to be healthy are the same things that a whole room full of plants need - just less of it! Smaller lights, a smaller fan, etc.
If you expect your plant to be the best that it can be, you have to give it the best treatment you can give.
