I LOVE this show!! I started watching it when I was younger and then I recently started to get into it a few months ago on TV Land until they took it off for Star Trek... Ehh, but I was forunate to buy all 8 seasons. Can't beat that. I'm surprised this hasn't mention at least I haven't been able to find it in the threads here. Either way, it's an awesome show that lasted 8 season, before my time, but still timeless. I mean who doesn't love Jack Tripper always tripping and pretending to be gay with the landlords. This show is hilarious and classic. Just doesn't get any better. Plus you got Don Knotts, what a funny man. =)
three's company doesn't come on anymore, but i remember as a little girl, wheni would stay home from school sick, i would lie down on the couch all day in front of our t.v.and watch T.V. Land. It was special because this was the only time i got to watch Gilligan's Island, which i loved. three's company came on after, but i never got to watch it, because as soon as my mom heard the theme song.."Come and knock on our door!" she would rush in and turn the channel. she told me it wasn't a show for kids. I never got to see past the part in the intro where the sunbathing girl gets water poured on her.
I adore "Three's Company." It is one of the only sitcoms that I can watch reruns of constantly. I have to admit, though, Chrissy and Janet annoy me most of the time, but Jack is priceless .
Chrissy's whiney voice gets annoying after watching too many episodes in a row. I also hear the doorbell ringing in my head after too many epsodes. The writers of the show came up with some pretty good situations. .
I thought that I was the only one that happened to (about the doorbell). I also start to have dreams of Jack and Larry if I go into my obsessive state and watch a marathon or just try to watch it every night.
it's coming back to tvland starting monday at 5pm. i love it. haha, they don't make sitcoms like they used to. i liked terri out of all of the blonde girls and absolutely loved janet's outfits in the earlier seasons.
That is excellent news! I was wondering if they were going to bring it back. I agree with you, dylanzeppelin, they certainly don't make sitcoms like they used to.
It's strange too, because the lyrics of the theme song are "Come and knock on our door", yet we've never heard anyone knock, only ring the doorbell. .
It's a great show. I don't like the later seasons as much as the earlier ones, though... I think Suzanne Somers was much better than any of the other girls.
Yes its such a shame A couple weeks ago i saw the final episode (Where they moved out of thier apartment and went seperate ways) I still havent seen THE FIRST SHOW though! (Or maybe i have and i forgot,is it the one where Jack meets Chrissy in the hospital? (She is a nurse))
