How the water coming out of your tap? The one good thing about the rain up here is the water is awesome and they don't have to chlorinate the fuck outta it. I grew up in central Florida where the municipal water was disgusting. Same with Dallas, especially in the summer when it would come out green. Reading, PA wasn't so bad though.
it can be pretty bad here in Vt at some time...sometimes its good. i drink water only from the bubbla though here at school. when i'm home in boston, i only drink the tap water from the bathroom sink...i don't like the water the comes out of the kitchen sink
I'm a bottled water freak (poland springs) so any water coming out of the tap is either earmarked for cleaning dishes or for boiling veggies. Hotwater
The older style sink faucets used lead for valves. Drink anything coming from the hotwater side and you'd get nice dose of lead poisoning.
I drink out of the bathroom sink all the time. Which totally contradicts what I said earlier but I get my glasses of water filtered but I'll sip out of the sink now and then too. Haha.
how old are we talking about here? and i love eating lead paint chips, so i got the lead poisoning covered
This place was made in 1974... so yeah, how old? Lead paint chips are delcious. I love the chocolate flavored variety.
like you put your mouth down by the faucet and drink? cuz i do that too when i'm too lazy to get a cup
It can also come from lead solder on the hotwater piping which is not as bad but more common in more recent homes. You don't have anything to worry about if you don't drink from the hotwater side.
But, But... there is no hot water side... just one faucet thingie that you turn either way to make it hot or cold. Do you mean as long as it's turned on cold from the ONE faucet? haha. Give me something else to worry about ...geez...thanks.

What else would you like to worry about? I've got a whole list you can choose from? The solubility of lead is exponentially proportional to temperature. If coldwater is coming out, you don't have anything to worry about. Otherwise you can rip out all the metal pipes and replace them with plastic. Sorry I told you. lol
I drink our tap water. I also breathe the air in my area, and live under power lines. I am hoping to get my super powers any day now...
I grew up with delicious well water, it is quite a come down for me now that I have to drink city water.
We have a tasty tasty well here in CT, and that water is amazing, but I used to live in Philly where the water tasted like crap and chlorine, so in that case I used a filter pitcher which was awesome I don't get bottled water though, it's just tap water run through a reverse osmosis filter and then "re-mineralized" so it actually has taste again. Then again, maybe I've just been spoiled
