early or late pink floyd?

which do you like better? i think the earlier stuff is mind blowing, but the later stuff is awesome too.

 

I prefer the early, Barrett-led Floyd. However, I do also enjoy the later Floyd.

And Becknudefck, I like your signature... The Who is my favorite band!

 

I like the middle-years floyd; meddle, animals, dark side, all smashingly good albums where the band had found it's sound and Waters wasn't yet a complete artistic control freak

All wonderfully equal to me. Actually, the division bell is one of my favorites.

 

'67-71 Floyd is the best, and is the only Floyd I will listen to anymore (with the exception of Animals).

 

I'll go with the Syd Barret era myself.

 

the barrett floyd. Actually i like all pink floyd, except for the post-waters era.

 

I love both the syd barret and waters albums. I love that instrumental syd does in the first album. But each album is different, that's what's cool about pink floyd!

 

im saying all their 70's stuff is far out
and im deifnitley a fan of gilmour lead pink floyd
david gilmour in my opinion is more talented than syd barrett
but i still love syd barrett, hes was an excellent frontman
animals is the greatest album by far

 

I love the early Floyd, but I love the middle years more. The post-Waters years were still good, but not nearly as good as the earlier stuff.

 

Ya I like Gilmour mainly for his amazing guitar work. i love the solo on Time.

 

Early AND late. And yeah, that includes A momentary lapse of reason, the delicate sound of thunder, the division bell and pulse. I think it's bad just to listen the psychadelic pink floyd. I think it's an evolution from the late psychadelic, Meddle to Dark Side of the Moon.
