And who exactly has the right to say so? Shrinks? They are humans that bleed and make mistakes just like you or me. How do we know that what we consider "normal" is not just a case of majority rules? Majority of people don't talk to and answer themselves. So if you do then your what? Crazy? IMO "normal" is a state of mind and alot of peoples normal doesn't fit with society. Here's a different kind of example when it comes to sex. Some people consider handcuffs "kinky" and to me that's just a regular thing to use. I don't see the omg factor with handcuffs and sex. When someone else might find that weird or strange. What are your thoughts?
No single person in the world is normal, yes society has to have this image of "socially accepted behaviour" in order to stay a functioning organism. People need an ideal of how they need to be... otherwise they don't know what behaviour to shape themselves after. There are lots of social categories and ways of behaviour. Some people choose to adapt to stereotypes of behaviour based on old tradition (religion mostly), and choose to follow, lets say... Christianity's standard of good (normal) per example. Some people, especially in modern society have other options such as Socially accepted groups which at times tend to be stereotypically labeled, take "Hippie", per example. Ofcourse all throughout time there were a few individuals who did not conform to humanity's self image... they were the renaissance men, they were the ones that created all the change. So much change by so few people... fascinating.

Normal? I don't know. When it comes to sex, I don't think anything is normal. Everybody has their kinks or hangups.
i hate even the word "normal" it's fake it's nothing and once i had a funny situation with my little sister (5year-old): i got a job as a teacher in her school and she said to all the other pupils: "this is my sister she used to be a normal person, but now she's a teacher!"
normality is a complete utter and absolute myth. there just plain ain't no such damd thing. at all whatsoever period! it is a biased vested pretention promoted by those who want to con everyone into immitating each other so that they can more easily automate the proccess of exploiting them. there is such a thing as being considerate of others. there is such a thing as being considerate of the kind of world we ALL have to live in. there is such a thing as not tripping over your emotional shoe laces. but there ain't no damd such thing as "normal". =^^= .../\...
