Has anyone ever had the experience after taking one or two pills with their girlfriend (or wife??), and with no one else around, of "hearing" them speak without their lips moving? I know the feeling of connectedness is amazing, but my GF at the time and I had this distinct feeling, and it was WEIRD. And its happened more than once, but definitely not every time...
i know what you mean if im rolling and im with someone i know ill always turn to them and say WHAT? DID YOU SAY SOMETHING?? and the answer is always nooo this happens to me at raves when there loud music and you couldnt possibly hear someone next to you and it still happens to me soo i know its the rolls and i guess it could be a form of telepathy ? nahh i dont think so i think its your brain turning to mushhh
E is probably the most empathic drug there is. When your brain opens up to that extreme empathy (something we normally don't experience in our daily lives), then who knows what pathways are opening within our brains. The empathy allows the mind to open up and not only feel, but accept things normally not acceptable. In daily life, your mind would discount any sort of telepathy, and consider it "not possible". But in that altered state, your mind suddenly accepts things like that as possible. That acceptance, along with the empathy, can (and will) open up those channels if you allow them.
if u wanna experience COMPLETE emphaty, try psychodelic drugs, MDMA doenst stay even close to it... it is toxic,harmful, and does not posses abilities of mushrooms or lsd. and only then after u understand life, they joy will follow you as a shadow that never leaves.
i think it is because when serotonin floods our brains, we are more prone to deriving emotional cues and communications from people around, and so we interpret a lot of body language in various ways and give a lot of attention to people around. this can lead to the feeling of reading peoples thoughts, which you are doing but not from hearing them speak their words, but sensing them take on any sort of form physically and socially
I was tripping mushrooms while a VERY close friend of mine was rolling and i could just understand exactly what she was thinking/feeling during a conversation from body language and something else i dont completely understand. I personally think it was her empathy in conjunction with the awareness and understanding brought with mushrooms. However, i dont think this would happen between any two people that dont have a previous close relationship.
i played a game with my mate on mushrooms which was like wot colour am i thinking of and we got it rite about 5 times then decided to stop in case we ruined it lol.x
One time my brother and I were doing rock/paper/scissors for first shot in a game of beer pong, and we threw the same thing like 12 times in a row, after both making the first shot cup like a bazillion times...we had to make someone else decide, it was too freaky that we kept doing exactly the same thing. It's also funny what you guys are describing, cuz that's how I feel all the time - I simply see so much about people all the time; like one person said I don't even understand how it happens, though I've come to be able to sort of describe it a little: it's like a personality appears to me as any other physical trait would, like blonde/brown hair, etc. I think a friend and I had telepathy with a computer one time on shrooms, we were tryin to get the laptop do open this one program and I couldn't control that little dot mouse that goes in the center of the keyboard....and then all the sudden the computer opened the program we wanted, without us having physically commanded it to do so. o.0 Shit was strange.
if two people are synched into each others vibes, then it is pretty hard not to feel what each other are feeling
To me E feels like "concentrated living" the state of being able to be on, or off, in the sense how you can just tune in or out so easily. space out and be alone completely, just thinking intensely, and then in an instant you are you back into life and conversating as easy as pie, my friend and i decided this..... and what Neuronaut said about personality being like a trait, i always do that, a watch how people react to things and how they express themselves, through facail expressions or body langauge... how they stick up for themselves, how they talk about things etc... and as for telepathy i connected it with how humans have "huge" brains and how much e i was on, casue me and my friend were REALLY REALLY insync. it was fucking dope. and telepathy
This reminds me of one time my best friend and I were driving on E (i know it's dangerous...) and she was giving me directions of where to go by simply making eye movements and just by body language we were communicating. I was calling her my GPS and man, we were into it haha. I think with certain people, you feel that connection, i mean me and this girl are crazy close and when we're rolling it's like there's some serious bonding that's beyond words, but we don't even use words.
hmmm i dunno bout this telepathy hogwash...seems to me its all just a matter of two kids rollin's face and subjectively experiencing the effects of a psychedelic drug....and yes, MDMA is psychedelic in nature, anyone who doesnt agree with me just hasnt taken enough of it.
