Drugs do things, whether or not that effects you on certain levels of awareness isn't even debatable. Its proven, read up on Timothy Leary's 8 circuits of consciousness, on top of that any college professor or psyche class will teach you the same thing. The pyramid of needs, some people worry about food, then social, then love, then spiritual. I have all my needs met, so I can explore...priveledged beyond a price.

 

^^^^ Unneeded contribution in all honesty; anyone with an ounce of initiative knows that drugs effect the mind in many different ways (depending on the substance).
Nobody needs to back themselves or the subject up anymore; it's pretty fucking obvious that the thread starter's either created this for a pure laugh, or out of complete inexperience and wishful thinking. This guy's probably got wind of 'the placebo effect' and now thinks that applies to every single mind altering substance out there. Oh, what a complete lack of knowledge, he's gonna make a twat out of himself one day in front of a bunch of Heroin addicts who'll think he's taking the piss and gut the bastard.

 

maybe it's kinda like in the matrix, or buddhist philosophy. you don't really know or experience anything as it is, but rather as you interpret it. y'see, you basically rely on your senses and your predjudices to experience things, and if those senses/predjudices are so easily malliable, then their concreteness disappears...
so really a drug is just an effect our mind interprets through faulty facilities...
so maybe they don't really exist, and we're all just hallucinating the whole thing.

 

Right to end this dispute;

BTW, I still think it is possible that the kid was serious. I know plenty of sheltered christians who would say things like that. Creationism is JUST as close-minded as the statement hippiewholikesjesus made. Despite the overwhelming amount of facts, people refuse to believe in evolution simply because the Bible says so.

I find it more believable that some angry ignorant Christian would create and account just to make that one post than some little kid trying to be funny. If it was really a kid just trying to be funny there would have been more lines like "JESUS WILL POOP ON YOU!!" and "MY MOMMY RAPES ME WITH A STRAP ON" and less half-assed attempts at logical reasoning.
