top under and over rated bands

Im real tired and I dont feel like thinkin' right now, but I will really agree that Jethro Tull and the meat puppets are underrated. Primus isnt underrated with anyone I have ever met.....but with the media and stuff yeah.
How anyone could say Led Zeppelin is overrated I will never understand. Of course that is my opinion.

I agree. Although I respect these bands completely, since they did influence a lot of new bands...I still think that people should stop praising Zeppelin soo much, like everyone does.

Also, I agree about the whole Jimi hendrix being overrated thing. He too influenced a lot, but if we are judging an artist's greatness just by who they influenced....we are forgetting a lot of people. Hendrix was good creatively, but technically he could have improved quite a bit.


It goes without saying that this is all just my opinion. No stupid flamers..ok?

What in the hell? Where on Earth did she say that? I really hope she's joking, Ashely Simpson in the same league with Joan Jett is completely ridiculous. I saw her awful music video wearing a t-shirt with the word "Punk" printed across it, just really made me laugh. My friend sadly owns her album so I've heard it, and I would certainly not call it "edgy" at all, I would call it "pop music that's really cute and meaningful if you're an eight-year-old girl".

ahhhhhhh.... silly mtv. Oh well.

Ahh, good one. Yes, I'd say that They Might Be Giants are underrated.

 

I'm so upset right now, not that ne one care's, but 4 some of u 2 call some of the greatest bands in the world over-rated is beyond me, i mean come on, with out those bands, life would suck, well life already sux, but in a beautiful kinda way, ne way, i dont think all the bands u call over-rated r n fact actually over-rated, but thats my opinon, and so is urs, so keep livin in peace, and let the music take ur soul. Yeah I don't see why nirvana is so big,noone in the band was any good.
