I would like to know exactly how one defines "mens issues" and who defines that? specifically who defines whether an issue is an issue for one man , or for all men? surely if this is a mens issues forum it should be up to men to decide what issues are mens issues ? If these are not mens issues, what are mens issues and do men find madonna attractive enough to have sex with?
Thanks for the support - I am really going to keep oa about this as it seems totally shit and if somebody dont understand what mens issues are or dont want the envelope pushed WTF are the doing with moderators rights? I totally think that its within my rights to ask other guys if they think madonna is fuckable - thats a mens issue - whether you like it or not and I demand that thread be re-opened
Why? only a man could give madonna a nobbing - as only men have got them! So its a mans issue and the most important bit was "do they find her attractive enough to do that"
What is a mens issue, the majority of what passes for mens issues here are hardly anything to do with men. I have noticed that quite a lot of women post here and that it was a female moderator that blocked the thread - IF THAT HAD HAPPENED IN THE WOMENS ISSUES FORUM where a male had stopped a thread on an issue that was borderline - there woul; have been claims of sexism shouted out. What does Heat know about mens issues? If they put me in charge of the womens issues forum then I will not claim this was a sexist act but if they dont then I see it as pure sexism and sensorship on issues that are mens issues but not what you expected. I dont see how it cant be a mans issue - Whether maddonna is pretty enough so that guys want to blow their beans up her arse is definitely a male issue - if you want to know what mens issues are just look in mens magazines at the supermarket and other shops and they talk about such stuff all the while
I think Men's Issues is the place to discuss what it is to be a man in this world, beyond (but not excluding) the streotypical beer, football and sex image of maleness. There are Booze and Love&Sex forums for those. (There used to be a little used sports forum) Just as "my boyfriend looked at another girl" threads don't belong in Women's Issues (and are moved to Relationships), "would you do her" threads don't belong in this forum. I don't know why the Madonna thread was closed instead of moved. But I would hate to see this forum overrun with "would you do her", "look at the tits on this one", "who's horney enough to sleep with this ugly broad" threads. Those can go to Love&Sex. As to women's participation in this forum; Some of the most interesting threads have been started by a woman. One that I recall asked "Why can't you guys miss the rim of the toilet bowl?" Another woman asked men what we thought made the difference between a man and a male. I like a forum where men are treated as more than a penis looking for a friend. Let the purely sexual threads go to L&S where they belong. Let's keep this forum for discussion of the total man, which includes, but is not limited to (or even predominated by) his sex life.
I notice you say that then you go on to contradict yourself which makes me think you dont really know what you want or where the post should be. Why is everyone getting so uptight about it. If it is both a mens issue and not a mens issue then its a mens issue. You cant have it two ways dude. You cant say it is a mens issue but move it, at the same time as saying its a mens issue. Your sensure of what I believe is a mens issue means nothing to me, but my perogative to post a valid mens issue means nothing then to the moderator, because whatever is posted can be moved or closed if the moderator has an issue about what constitutes a mens issue?? thats pathetic and small minded Just how the fuck is the "child molester help thread a valid mens issue? it could have been posted anywhere else. Why not simply close it down or move it. I will make a list of all those threads which dont particularly constitute mens issues and you delete them ! ok ok so thats the boobies thread and child molesters so far Actually I will just bump them all to the top of the forum
so - as you see about 75% of this forum is actually less of a mens issue than the post I posted about bonking madonna
Actually, This forum was started so the Males have a place to ask other males for advice on things that males deal with. Yes, I believe that would make the Madonna question legit. Most of us use it for real life stuff. Health, Single father stuff. Things like that.
I think you are a troll, ronald mcdonald. Not sure if you're pissed off because someone censored you or you really want to talk about Madonna as a man's issue. Get over it and move on.
Hahahahaa. Holy crap, and you just keep trolling. Look, some people come into this forum with serious questions, and their threads remain open because they get advice and answers from them and they aren't always moved to a different forum. Think of this forum like you would of an advice column in a newspaper. You write in, expecting to get answers and advice. Your original post about Madonna wasn't really meant to be taken seriously, or at least could not by a Guest who had only made 4 posts before creating a thread in the advice Men's Issues forum. Why? Because hundreds of users join, post and troll the forums everyday. They create threads about fucking celebrities in a forum where we talk about our personal lives and families and after 10 posts or so, they disappear into the night. Stop being a troll. Grow up and read the rules.
Perhaps you misinterpreted me. Willingness to do Madonna may be a men's issue, but I think that this forum is more pleasant if those kinds of men's issues are discussed in other forums (where they are also appropriate). I am sure that anyone can rationalize just about any subject into the heading "Men's issues", but which of those subjects improve this forum and which don't?
Well I am simply pointing out that its a hell of a lot more of a mens issue than 70% of the posts that get made here- you cant have the cacke and eat it - you cant sy my post isnt a mens issue and that its my issue if you also allow some spotty herbert to post asking for advice oin what to do because his girlfriend left him. Aristartle you are not actually thinking about what the forum is, are you, just so long as you feel like you got control of it - and yes I actually did want to debate whether madonna is fuckable or not as a mens issue. since a lot of men just see her as some kind of screen godess and do not actually takle into account that she's one of the least talented and least good looking but with an ego the size of a large airport Hmm... who does that remind me of ? I will write back and let you know later oh yeah it was madonna
For Your Information, Ronald, HEAT and MATT started this forum! When no other person, man or womyn, was willing to. Heat agreed to be the Mod. As for "If a man stopped a thread in the Wif...." Well, it happens regularly, ALL superMods are allowed to Moderate in ALL forums. Male Mods have Modded in the WIF and there were absolutely NO "shouts of sexism." My guess is you need to get to know the site better, and start by reading the Guidlines.
