I've heard doing exercise in the morning makes you more likely to make it routine. And it has helped me too. In the afternoon or night I'm just kinda like eh I don't feel like it. But I am kind of a morning person too.

I always do my work outs in the morning. Supposedly if you do it too close to the time in which you would want to settle down and think about sleeping, you'll be too wired up!

your in florida and you want to run on a treadmill? man, get outside and run.

doesn't matter what time you run/workout, as long as you are consistant...

and you should do more than just running to...

If I work out in the morning I feel good all day. If I wait tunil night I feel like I'm dragging throughout my day until my workout.

Start slow at first. walk don't run.

I do 30 minutes everyday and I didn't start running until after the first week. Now I warm up for 2 and a half minutes and then jog or run as long as I can or until my 30 minutes are up. Some days I only speed walk, but when I do that I definitely add a level of incline to make up for it and to really work my ass :)

I like the idea of timing it b/c if you simply give up whenever you get tired you won't be running or walking for to long. But if you set a goal then you feel more inclined to push yourself until you reach it, even if you just barely make it :)

    good luck to you

I like to run at night. I don't know why.. I guess I like thinking about my day. I can work off the fustrations I had that day, or work towards knowing that I will feel GREAT the next day and get to rest afterwards!

ok so Im doing the runner program mode on my treadmil so it sets me up with a walk and then i go into a run. the highest i go is 6 miles per hour. its half an hour of treadmil time. and i am just under 2 miles.

I try to run mornings but i wake up to late most days.

my dad already noticed that i weigh less

I do best at night after work. I am running my first 5K since I was 21 in 8 days! It's going to be the morning after I come back from vacay though...so I don't know if I'll place or not.
I hate treadmills. I live in socal and imagine the weather in Flordia is similar. Why not find a cool trail and let nature motivate you?

start walking for around 15 minutes on an incline

build to a slow jog for another 15

put it on max incline and build up to full pelt

theres a difference between running and jogging

if you want fast results try this.

if you want to save your joints just walk on max incline

even better get a cross trainer
