What are some songs that you really like from the 60's, Most the music i listen to lately are from that era so i'd really like to get turned on to some new bands.

Anything by Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd. Also, 'Gimme Shelter' by the Rolling Stones and 'Tomorrow Never Knows' by The Beatles.

Im really into that era of music as well....so much, that my vinyl collestion is starting to rival my dad's, and he was there......

    I'm into:
Early Rolling Stones, when they were a blues band
    The Animals
some psychedelic garage bands like The Seeds, Blue Cheer, Electric Prunes
    Love
    13th Floor Elevators
    Richie Havens

good lord, I could go on....
.....but my absolute favorites are Jefferson Airplane and Jimi Hendrix

Well the Beatles wouldn't be new to anybody...
Well, there's The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, Jimi Hendrix, the Kinks, and Love are the biggies in my book. But there's always the Grateful Dead, The Zombies, The Rolling Stones, Strawberry Alarm Clock (they did Incense and Peppermints, their one big hit) and the Lemon Pipers (another one-hit wonder with Green Tambourine). But seriously there's too many to count.

    I loved Herman's Hermits--they were silly.

Lou Reed is awesome. Velvet Underground (band he was in) was amazing.

Bob Dylan, the Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Dave Clark Five, Cream, the Who, the Kinks, the Moody Blues, the Mama's and the Papa's, the Grateful Dead.

1910 Fruitgum Company and the Searchers were pretty alright.

I can't think of anyone else at the moment, though.
