Drinking robotussin (sp) has many health effects especially on the liver. You have to make sure you buy the right kind of tussin. One day my brother drank the wrong kind and couldn't breath; he ended up in the hospital drinking tar and getting his stomache pumped. He woke up with poop shit all over himself from drinking the tar. I suggest if you're going to take Dxm you buy the capsels which I believe contain only DXM or you should take the pure DxM pills. When I tripped on Dxm I took one 500mg pure pill and tripped balls. You said you are trying to stay away from pot? Marijuana make Dxm soo much funner.

 

ok some poeple have been trying to give advice. first, i know waht not to take, ok ive looked it up, im not a fucking idiot like most kids who go get whatever cough syrup. robo DX contains only dxm + sugars+ preservatives. the preservatives are harmless and natural.
also, i wish poeple would stop saying how you shoudlnt do dxm caus its really shit. its different for everyone. jsut caus it was bad for you doesnt mean you need to ruin other poeple's fun.

plus i drank lots of water. the damage that cough syrup causes is caus tehres too much sugars. (for most of them).

and yeh i was doing ti as a change from weed and when i smoke again (next weekend) ill try them together.

I think they are just trying to warn you, not call you stupid, plus its not a bad idea for them to list the warning like that in the case a kid like you described finding this thread, and just speed read the entire thing and just got any bottle and chugged it. He would OD probably, run to his parents or the hospital, then tries to blame everyone that had anything to do with it. Me personaly, my first trip was fun as hell, the last 2 were nuthing but being sick, its not just it has a different affect on each person like was stated, it can have a different effect each time.

Not everyone sees it that way, I know I sure didn't til recently. So it doesn't always have to be a kid, it just shows that person might not have a clue of what they are getting them selves into since they didn't read the fine print.

Its easier to just eat charcoal, amke sure it doesn't have any chems in it like lighter fluid, then wash down with water.
