You, me and all of us are simply slaves of society. Our lives are controlled by the society which pushes quick, extreme routes in order to accomplish otherwise meaningless, pointless tasks. 99.999% of the "jobs" to which we devote our time to are simply just support beams which guarantee the perpetuation of society. We end up wearing clothes which correspond to the particular "mold" to which we have either been involenterily or volentarily prescribed. Many base their choices of music, activities and objects of devotion on this prescribed mold. Yes, even the "hippies" are simply just a prescribed mold of people who base most of their lifestyle choices off of that image. We are controlled by talking heads of telivision and the luring lights of computers, telephones, video games, dvds etc. There is no nature, look up in the sky and see telephone wires, the ground is stuffed with cable. The human race has succeeded in achieving two incredible offenses: 1. Destroying the earth, our carrier and home base. 2. Enslaving one another. Our morals are skewed and stretched, and certainly passed down and injected into us by prior generations. For example- it's immoral, in fact an unbelievable offense to end the life of another human. However, what do we base this upon? Why is it imperative that human life be preserved? What good has human existance brought to the earth? Think of this- when a human gets a bacterial infection, he/she injects medicine in order to wipe out this infection which has greatly destroyed him/her, and could have killed him/her. Now- human beings are literally destroying the earth. Human existance can be described as a cancer upon the earth. Now, when you think of the millions of bacteria which run through your body and have been destroyed, you look upon them as insignificant, meaningless little specks. But- look at a picture of the earth in relation to even a small portion of outer space, and you'll simply see a blue pixel amongst infinate black space. What im saying is- human existance on the planet earth, on the overall scheme of things- is quite insignificant and meaningless. We are simply little specks which rest upon the little speck known as planet earth. That said, how could anyone possibly take Calculus class seriously, worry about their credit report, or go to work as a corporate accountant? Basically, our busy little lives are simply a waste of time as is, but with society's invisible hand controlling us day in, day out, we become not just negligable, but negative. (no, im not an athiest)
You also can't spell...but that's ok. I am an atheist, so what's your point with that? Your pessimism is allowed but don't start telling me society has control over me. I've never been its bitch...and though there are some things it def has control over...it doesn't have control over anything important in my life. You have some truthful points but they are def not original thoughts...any cynical child can spew that stuff... How bout instead of whining, you do something about it.
