are embarrasing. i recall one afternoon when i was a kid. i was on my rollar blades while holding on to my dog's collar. and i bumped into a parked car. yeah. how memorable you could say
haha i was 9 wearing roller blades and sitting on the back of my friends bike ( i was just learning how to roller blade) and when my friend started going too fast, i decided to get off. i completely forgot i was wearing roller blades. as soon as i got off i almost fell, so i quickly grabbed the back of my friends bike and fell on my ass. The bike dragged me across the street, sitting on my ass and sweeping the trash that was laying around somebody's garbage can. I yelled at my friend to stop the bike, but when she finally did i was far behind laying on the street and swearing to kill her.
I was 12 and starting to think girls were pretty neat. Hadn't figured much beyond that. Well there was a pretty little girl with red hair and blue hair ribbons, so I had to show off to impress her. So to show her my manly side or what ever, I climbed up a tree. I went up and up until I stood on a branch that was pretty rotten. Then down and down I went when the branch broke. I hit the ground pretty hard which didn't impress her at all. The result was a broken collar bone. 45 years later, last July, I was running up the stairs and took a fall, you got it, broke the same collar bone again. This time my 60 year old wife drove me to the hospital, by the way she's a red head. Didn't impress her either..... She doesn't have any blue hair-ribbons...............Dennis
One of my friends 'crashed' into a parked car. He was on his bike and pushing with his feet on the ground (not even pedaling) while reading a cartoon on a bubble gum wrapper. He fell off the bike and some nice woman came out of her house and helped him up. He said the fall didn't hurt him but his pride was hurt when that woman came out of her house saying, "Oh, are you ok?". .
oh, i've done that... riding my bike down the street, distracted by something shiny... suddenly i hit a parked truck on the side of the road and am down on the pavement with my handlebars hooked over the tailpipe. good times.
