First time grower is a fan needed

Im going to grow just the one plant in my garage ive bought my lighting system a 250w one and not sure what else is needed for just the one plant got the book entitled GROW GREAT MARIJUANA by logan edwards were he talks about hydroponic systems and air intake etc but the books about growing a room full of weed and im after growing just the single plant can you no ads on this forum spammers hydroponic systems for one plant and are fans vital even for one plant please help i need some advice cheers

 

A small fan is a real good move. You might do OK without it, but there are no negatives to having good air movement.

 

would a desk fan be ok and what about hydroponics can you get them for one plant

 

Well, what kind of 250 watt system do you have? HPS? MH? hopefully not halogen because then you're fucked. MH tends to run hotter than HPS so you would need a bit bigger of a fan with more CFM than if you are using HPS.

 

its a mh light so wat type of fan is needed this is trickyer than i thought

 

Well, is this going to be an enclosed area? if so, you might want to consider using a cooltube for your light. If not, just get a good fan, multiple speed, and point it at the light. That way it will blow the heat away. It worked for me until I got a better setup going.

Yeah. You can make a simple bubbler (dwc) with a covered plastic bucket, a small air pump with an airstone and some tubing and a net pot. The finished unit should cost around $10. (5 pounds) or less! But the rest of the hydro supplies can get expensive and hydro is tricky for beginners!

 

one thing you should have is the bible best book onthe market and yes you do need a fan and move inportant is fresh air and whats one plant if your taken the risk make it worth your while
